Dr. Anna Ganios
Introducing Dr. Anna Ganios, a passionate pediatric dentist with a wealth of experience and a commitment to improving the oral health of children and young adults. Having completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the esteemed UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital from 2021 to 2023, Dr. Ganios honed her skills in providing comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, including those with special health care needs. She gained hands-on experience in an array of pediatric dental procedures, from composite restorations to stainless steel crowns, ensuring her young patients received top-notch care.
During her residency, Dr. Ganios also immersed herself in cutting-edge techniques, such as utilizing lasers and advanced behavior guidance methods, including oral sedation and IV sedation. Moreover, she fearlessly tackled challenging cases, participating in the pediatric emergency department's on-call duties and treating traumatic dental injuries, fractures, and dental infections. Beyond her residency, she has been actively involved in community service, volunteering at events like Give Kids a Smile Day and Remote Area Medical, where she generously provided dental care to underserved and uninsured patients.
Prior to her residency, Dr. Ganios showcased her expertise as a general dentist at Robert J Ripich & Bret Pavlica DDS LLC and Akron Family Dental in 2020-2021. There, she crafted personalized treatment plans for adult and elderly patients, demonstrating her commitment to their oral health and overall well-being. Her clinical experience extended to operative, removable, and fixed procedures, including the restoration of implants and endodontics.
Dr. Ganios's journey in dentistry began at Case Western Reserve University, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in May 2020. During her time there, she excelled as a dental tutor, guiding and mentoring fellow dental students in refining their clinical skills and understanding oral pathology. Her hard work and dedication were recognized with the Dean's Clinical Scholarship Award and membership in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society. Dr. Ganios also actively participated in community initiatives like the MEDWORKS Dental Volunteer program, underscoring her commitment to serving those in need. Today, Dr. Ganios finds joy in cooking, spending time outdoors, and cultivating her garden. She can’t wait to meet you and your little one soon!
